SUMMARY:Youth of the Year Celebration
DESCRIPTION:Thank you to everyone who attended our 2026 Youth of the Year Celebration!\nAn evening dedicated to celebrating our outstanding teens, our annual Youth of the Year Celebration was packed with inspiring stories, speeches, and mission-focused transformative journeys from across our organization.\nAt this event, our three Youth of the Year finalists from our Pasco, Prosser, and Kennewick Clubhouses shared their personal stories about how the Club has impacted their lives and how they plan to give back to their community. At the end of the night, we announced our organizational Youth of the Year, who will advance to the Washington State Youth of the Year event.\nCongratulations, Robert! Our 2026 Youth of the Year!\n\nRobert, an 11th grader from our Pasco Clubhouse, was named our 2026 organizational Youth of the Year at our Youth of the Year Celebration on January 29th, 2026\n“The Club didn’t just help me grow; it helped me believe in myself. Because of the Boys & Girls Club, I know that I can achieve anything I set my mind to,” says Robert.\nAbout the Youth of the Year program\nYouth of the Year is America’s premier leadership and recognition program for Club teens. Each year, thousands of Club teens participate in local, state, and regional Youth of the Year events. National Youth of the Year winners have achieved success in a variety of industries, including entertainment, politics, business, and sports. Becoming National Youth of the Year is an exciting and inspiring journey.\nIn the months leading up to our Youth of the Year Celebration, our Community Clubhouses ( https://greatclubs.org/community-clubhouses/ ) in Kennewick, Pasco, and Prosser each select one high school teen to represent their Club as their site Youth of the Year. During the event, those three finalists will share their personal stories about how the Club has impacted their lives and how they plan to give back to their community. One of the three finalists will be named our organization’s Youth of the Year, and that teen will move on to attend the Washington State Youth of the Year Celebration in the spring.\nLearn more about our local Youth of the Year Program\nSee photos from our 2026 event!\n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n\nDid you miss our 2026 Youth of the Year Celebration?
