Currently, we are childcare at Clubs at Marcus Whitman, Sacajawea, White Bluffs, and Badger Mountain elementary schools in Richland. In Pasco, Clubs are open at Mark Twain, James McGee and Ruth Livingston elementary schools. Our Prosser Park Branch continues to offer full day care to families in need.
Club Discovery Preschools at the Pasco Main Branch, Van Giesen, and Kennewick Clubhouse are open.
As always, safety is our number one priority. We will continue to do everything possible to protect children, staff, and volunteers. We will monitor all Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Department of Health updates. We will advise all staff, families, and youth to take precautions as recommended by the CDC, provide resources like handwashing guides, and speak with young people in an age-appropriate manner about the virus and social distancing.
We anticipate summer looking different this year due to Covid-19 and social distancing practices. This will greatly affect our normal field trips and how we administer programs and activities. We will have a strong focus on academics while keeping the kids active and having fun with hands-on activities, games and programs. There will not be an official summer camp start date. However, as parents/guardians return to work and need childcare, we will be here!
We appreciate your patience and support throughout this time. Thank you for being part of our Club family!
