Emergency childcare operations will take place beginning Wednesday, March 18th
Dear Prosser Families,
Thank you for your patience with us as we work to develop a plan following the school closure mandate issued by Governor Inslee. Our Prosser Club will utilize Monday - Tuesday to train staff, prepare program, and clean facilities in preparation for full day care on Wednesday, 3/18/20.
We are here for our families that cannot go without childcare during this time. It is highly recommended that, if at all possible, kids stay home at this time, in keeping with public health safety standards to prevent and reduce the spread of COVID-19.
Beginning 3/18/20, Prosser Boys & Girls Club will be providing full day care (7am-6pm). The Prosser School District will provide breakfast and lunch. Boys & Girls Club will provide afternoon snack.
Rates will be on a sliding scale for families based on Free/Reduced lunch status.
We will be working diligently to keep our facilities as clean and sanitized as possible. Extra rounds of cleaning will be done and a stringent plan to sanitize and disinfect games, supplies, equipment and furniture will be in place. We will also be enforcing social distancing to the best of our ability.
Please note: Consistent with recommendations from the Department of Health, “If you have a fever, cough or shortness of breath and have not been around anyone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19, you should stay home, away from others, until 72 hours after the fever is gone and you are symptom free.”
Again, the Boys & Girls Club thanks you for your ongoing support and patience during this time of uncertainty. Our commitment to you and your children is unwavering.
