Great Day for Kids is a youth celebration and donor appreciation event.
This is the day we announce our 2020 Boys & Girls Club Youth of the Year. It is a celebration of our exceptional youth that are chosen by community judges and a time to appreciate our donors and investors for the impact they’ve made in local kids.
The next Great Day for Kids will take place February 6th, 2020. There is no charge to attend and supporters are encouraged to come and celebrate our youth. There will be snacks, beverages and youth performances!
We are grateful to Mission Support Alliance who is sponsoring all local Youth of the Year programs. Thank you, MSA!
The theme this year is Celebrate our Outstanding Teens! featuring our amazing kids. Hear stories from our Youth of the Year candidates and be there as our 2020 organizational Youth of the Year is Announced. Being named Youth of the Year is the highest honor a Boys & Girls Club member can receive.

Annual Breakfast- 4/21/20
Foundation for the Future
This year’s Foundation for the Future Breakfast will take place on Tuesday, April 21st, 2020! Make sure to mark your calendar!
Each year we ask individuals and organizations to invest in our clubs kids. The donations raised help to provide a safe and caring place for more and more youth each year. We rely on community support to grow in programs, services and facility space. The Foundation for the Future Breakfast assists in moving our local clubs to the next level of growth by raising not only funds, but also awareness.
The breakfast will again be held at the Three River’s Convention Center and will take place from 7:30-8:30 am.
The success of this event is dependent upon individuals who are willing to host a table. Kind individuals who volunteer to host a table are asked to invite 7 guests to join them for an fun and inspirational hour showcasing the impact the Boys & Girls Club has on community youth. There is no charge for being a Table Host and no charge to any guests for attending. However, this is a benefit and guests will be asked to consider making a donation to support our work during the program.
PETERSEN FAMILY RAISE A GLASS
May 28th, 2020 at Dillon Hall
Join us this year on May 28th, 2020 for another wine-tastic event!
The Petersen Family Raise a Glass is an intimate wine makers dinner. This unique event begins with a wine tasting hour featuring 10 local wineries. After the tasting hour, guests will enjoy a 5 course gourmet meal created and prepared by some of the best chefs in our community. Each course will be expertly paired with a wine from our partner wineries. Wine makers and winery representatives will be present at tables throughout the evening to converse with guests.

Eerkes Memorial Golf Classic for Kids… 8/14/20 – 8/15/20
The 18th Annual Eerkes Memorial Golf Classic for Kids will be held on August 14th & 15th, 2020. It’s sure to be another amazing year!
Last year’s Dinner Auction & Golf Tournament raised over $310,000! Proceeds benefit the Clubs and our local Young Life. We continue to be in awe of the immense support this event generates for our community. Thank you Eerkes family, and thank you supporters for your generosity! This is an annual event that happens every August. We sell out early so be sure to sponsor early to secure your place!
Dinner With Friends

Dinner with Friends is the Boys & Girls Club’s premier corporate fundraising event. Proceeds from the evening are dedicated to supporting the 3,300+ local youth members served annually!
Each year we welcome a well-known Club Alumni or supporter as our special keynote speaker. Past years guests include Shaun White, Steve Largent, Gary Payton, Evander Holyfield and Matt Hasselbeck.
We are currently working to secure this year’s special celebrity guest. It is sure to be another exciting speaker!

Festival of Trees – Prosser
The annual Festival of Trees, a benefit for the Prosser Boys & Girls Club, will be held at the Walter Clore Wine & Culinary Center on Saturday, November 16th, 2019. This elegant gala includes a silent auction full of gorgeously decorated holiday trees that are sold to raise funds for children and teens in our community. The live auction includes fishing trips, private wine tasting tours and more! Guests will enjoy local wines, brew and a catered dinner as they participate in bidding wars for donated items.
One hundred percent of the proceeds from the event support Prosser youth programs and the mission of the Club.
