DALILAH!
OUR 2023 ORGANIZATIONAL
YOUTH OF THE YEAR!As a Club youth for four years at the Kennewick Clubhouse - Eerkes Family Branch, Dalilah learned self-confidence, developed her leadership skills, and built meaningful relationships with other teens and staff.
“As I progressively continued attending Club, I realized a slight bit of change within myself. I felt like I was getting out of my shell slowly.”
After being named the Washington State Youth of the Year in 2023, Dalilah hopped on her first airplane for a trip to Beverly Hills, where she was named the Boys & Girls Clubs of America Pacific Youth of the Year. Shortly after that, she went to New York City to participate in the Boys & Girls Clubs of America National Youth of the Year Celebration.
“I knew no matter what I did, Club would support me along the way, and they never failed to help me in any way.”
By participating in service projects, volunteer opportunities, and Club programs, Dalilah has been able to come out of her shell and grow into a happier, more confident person.
“I have been inspired by staff and teens to become a better version of myself, to become a leader and lead with pride.”
