Our Curriculum

At Boys & Girls Clubs of Benton and Franklin Counties, we prepare children for success in school and in life by implementing the leading, research-based early learning curriculum into our daily programs.

Through a partnership with Teaching Strategies (the most widely used Preschool Curriculum in the Country), we empower children to be confident, creative, and caring learners through play-based, hands-on programming. This specialized approach incorporates language, literacy, and mathematics throughout the day.

Using this curriculum, our staff creates effective, developmentally appropriate programs for children with diverse backgrounds, life experiences, languages, and skill levels.

Our learning and development objectives fully align with the Head Start Early Learning Outcomes Framework and state early learning standards.

What Parents are Saying About our Early Learning Programs

This program has been fundamental to our child and myself as a parent. It brings more than child care but awareness of my child's growth. It's professional with their requirements needed and their amazing updates I receive from them. I am comfortably satisfied with the trust that's been grown. My daughter is happy and so I'm I because she loves going to the after school program.

We love our ELC boys and girls club! My kiddos feel safe, and cared for everyday they are there! It’s really nice to have that sense of security when dropping them off that your children are enjoyed and not just simply tolerated! They’re learning and growing and thriving everyday they get to attend!

I cannot thank the Boys & Girls Club enough for the impact that they've made in my daughter's life. She went from being delayed and struggling with social skills, to coming home singing her ABCs and can't stop talking about her friends. My daughter has done a 180 in a good way, and a lot of that is owed to the amazing teachers in the program.
