Our Curriculum

At Boys & Girls Clubs of Benton and Franklin Counties, we prepare children for success in school and in life by implementing the leading, research-based early learning curriculum into our daily programs.

Through a partnership with Teaching Strategies (the most widely used Preschool Curriculum in the Country), we empower children to be confident, creative, and caring learners through play-based, hands-on programming. This specialized approach incorporates language, literacy, and mathematics throughout the day.

Using this curriculum, our staff creates effective, developmentally appropriate programs for children with diverse backgrounds, life experiences, languages, and skill levels.

Our learning and development objectives fully align with the Head Start Early Learning Outcomes Framework and state early learning standards.

We couldn’t be happier with the staff at Kennewick Preschool.  They have the best communication and are always so caring.  They update us regularly on how our child is doing developmentally, socially, etc as well as just sharing all of the fun things they are doing.

We have watched our son grow tremendously through the Preschool program. Great staff, great lesson plans, and he has so much fun every day.
